New Computer

Ok...so long time since my last posting. Reason...my computer died. Well more specifically my hard drive died. Things started running very slowly and then nothing. Couldn't power up or anything. I took it to our IT guy at work and he confirmed that it was indeed dead. Now I am trying to figure out how to get all of the stuff I had on that drive off of it. I bought a hard drive enclosure, but that doesn't seem to be working. I have tons of music and pictures on there that I want back. It's like a fire. People always say they would grab pictures or other personal objects. For me, it was always my laptop. That's what I had everything on. My budget spreadsheet that I worked so hard on, my senior thesis, etc. My whole life was there. My next step is to talk to our IT guy at work again...he's a genius (Mark Hoffman Rocks). Then I suppose I'll just have to see if I can pull any strings with my police friends to get a computer forensics guy to pull off my stuff. Instead of child porn, he'll have to be looking for my hot air balloon ride, I'm sure it will be a nice change of pace for them. Let's hope I don't have to go that far though.
